Reservations
Services subject to availability at time of booking. Described programs include airport fees except for fees payable at destination. Itineraries do not include entry to National Parks, resort fees, embarkation fees, and local sustainability fees. Please consult current rates. Listed services are subject to change unless specifically stated that they are private. To reserve the services, you must request in writing with the names of the passengers and passport numbers in addition to the ages. Once the reservation is confirmed, the due dates for the advance payment and final balance will be communicated. The first advance payment made to start the reservations is non-refundable in the event of requesting the total cancellation of the reservation regardless of the date of cancellation. All confirmed reservations must be settled up to one month before the start date of the trip (except for special conditions services that may be non-refundable at the time of booking. These specific conditions will be informed in the travel advisor’s email and quote). In case of not settling up one month before the trip, the land services will be cancelled in full without any refund of the advance payments made. In case of requesting to resume the reservation, it will have a cost of USD 350 per person and will be subject to change of rate and availability of spaces. Payment in full or partial for any service provided by Nunatak implies the automatic acceptance of the conditions, remarks and responsibilities mentioned herein. Payment implies the passenger’s agreement to the itinerary, names of the travelers, flights, hotels, excursions and transfers. Any subsequent errors in the sale of the services omitted by the passenger shall be at the passenger’s own expense. Passengers must read and become aware of their contents.Payments
Promotional rates valid for payment in cash via interbank transfer. Consult other payment methods. For payments in Mexican pesos, the exchange rate to be applied is the one published by Banco del Bajío for sale on its website www.bb.com.mx. Payment in full or partial payment of any service provided by Nunatak implies the automatic acceptance of the conditions, observations and responsibilities mentioned here. Passengers must read and become aware of their content. It is important to note that some international operators charge between 40-70 USD for receiving an international transfer due to bank fees. In this case, this cost will be included in the selling price to the passenger; however, if a refund is applied, this amount will not be refunded.Transfers
In the event of hiring transfers, a transfer driver will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name and/or the name of the service provider company (the details can be found in the corresponding voucher). If for any reason it was not possible to contact said transfer driver, the passenger must immediately (via email, text message, or phone call) contact the service provider operator indicated in their voucher and/or Nunatak to provide support and instructions; in the event of failure to provide prior notification and acting on your own, any expenses incurred by the passenger will not be reimbursed. Land services contracted that do not have an assigned pick-up schedule must be coordinated directly with the service provider once you arrive at your destination. In case of delay, cancellation, or modification of a flight, especially when there are connections, we kindly request that the passenger notify the correspondent in the destination (information included in the voucher) and/or Nunatak to ensure their transfer upon arrival if this service is contracted. In the event that the passenger does not provide notification, any expenses incurred will not be reimbursed. In the event that the outbound transfer (out) is not provided for by the service provider and/or Nunatak within the stipulated pick-up time, and the passenger has waited for more than 15 minutes, it is essential to immediately communicate (email/text message/phone call) to inform that the passenger will take a private transport to reach the desired destination. Only with this notification, the amount spent on that transfer along with the receipt will be refunded upon the passenger’s return to their country of origin. It is the passenger’s responsibility to know the departure times of their flights, ferries, cruises and buses, as in the event that a transfer does not take place at the stated pick-up time and more than 15 minutes have passed since the waiting time, the passenger must take their own action (with prior notification to Nunatak) to immediately arrange for their air, land or sea transport and not lose these services. Therefore, in such a case, Nunatak will not be obligated to refund any expenses incurred by the passenger to continue their journey to their destination.Flights
Flight schedules are established and in some cases modified by the airlines. Nunatak will assist the passenger in the best possible way but will not be responsible for the damages caused by such modifications. Delays or cancellations of flights that may cause a modification to the original itinerary must be claimed locally with the airline, as they are not caused by Nunatak and therefore do not generate an economic liability for the Operator. In the event of a rescheduling by the airline where a stay not stipulated in the passenger’s itinerary is required, the passenger must request the airline to arrange for a hotel and cover the costs of transportation. Do not leave the airport and unilaterally decide to pay for the night’s stay until the airline rebooks you, as if this were done, it will be impossible to obtain reimbursement from the airline. As a result of this, the passenger may not arrive at their destination on the scheduled date. In this case, the hotel will not refund the cost of that night, as it will consider it a “no-show” because the hotel is not responsible for it either. In some cases, such as rescheduling due to weather conditions, airlines are not obligated to cover hotel costs, food, transportation, and expenses that may be incurred. In the event of a delay, cancellation, or modification of any flight, especially when there are connections, the passenger is kindly requested to notify the correspondent in the destination (information included in the voucher) and/or Nunatak so that they can ensure their transfer upon arrival if this service is contracted.Accommodation
Passengers must be aware of the schedules established by each hotel for the delivery of the rooms (check out), usually at noon. If the passenger has a flight after the check-out time, it does not mean that they can keep the room until their departure time without having expressly arranged something directly with the hotel. The passenger is responsible for the charges that the hotel imposes on the passenger for non-compliance with the schedule. In case the passenger arrives before the check-in time (check in), they must wait until they are given the room. Nunatak will confirm the type of room and the number of passengers allowed in it; however, the configuration of the beds (two beds, 1 double bed, 1 king bed, three beds, an extra bed, a cot, among others) will be requested but not guaranteed, as it will be subject to the hotel's availability at the time of check-in.Cruises
The ticket contains and accredits the conditions of the passenger contract concluded between the passenger and the cruise company. The ticket is valid only for the ship, the trip and the passenger indicated therein. The passenger must carry the ticket throughout the entire journey and for the entire time the trip for which it was issued lasts, and show it whenever required by the Company and/or the maritime authority, either at the time of embarkation, during navigation and/or at the time of disembarkation. The date and time of departure indicated on the ticket is approximate. Therefore, the ship’s departure may eventually be delayed, without liability on the part of the Company and/or Nunatak, due to weather conditions, by order of the maritime authority, for the well-being, health and safety of one or more passengers, or due to the occurrence of an act of authority or other event constituting force majeure or fortuitous event; the passenger is not entitled to any compensation for such circumstance. For its part, the date and time of arrival at the port of destination is also estimated; it may experience advances or delays due to any of the aforementioned reasons, without liability on the part of the Cruise Company and/or Nunatak in the rescheduling and expenses of the trip incurred. The carrier may cancel the departure of the ship in the event of force majeure or fortuitous event; in such a situation, the passenger is not entitled to a refund of the paid fare or compensation for any kind of damage. The price of the ticket does not include the value of the port fees charged at the ports, nor the value of visas, any immigration fees, reciprocity taxes, or any other fees currently or in the future charged to passengers upon their entry and/or departure from the visited States during the trip. Such fees and taxes will be charged to passengers separately from the ticket price or paid directly by the same passenger, as the case may be. The ticket also does not include tips to the crew nor purchases made in the onboard shops, satellite phone usage minutes, or any additional expenses incurred by the passenger due to personal needs or circumstances that arise during the course of the trip, such as a medical evacuation requested by the passenger or their family members. By paying for the cruise and embarking on the ship, the passenger accepts these conditions, without having the right to any action or compensation from the Company for any consequences that these circumstances may cause him, whether foreseen and/or unforeseen, foreseeable and/or unforeseeable, especially if the passenger is disabled or does not have optimal health. The ship is free to comply with any orders or instructions issued by the competent authorities or that are presented as competent to issue them, whether regarding loading, departure, routes, ports of call, interruptions, transshipments, unloading, arrival at destination or others. In the event that, due to the aforementioned orders, the Company is unable to disembark the passengers at the destination indicated on the ticket, it may disembark them at any other port; it being understood that the passenger contract has been fully fulfilled and executed in the indicated manner, with the responsibility of the Company ceasing from that moment. Accordingly, in such a case, the Company and/or Nunatak will not be obliged to refund the passenger the full or partial amount of their ticket nor to pay for or arrange for the transportation of the passenger to their destination, nor to compensate them for any expenses they may incur during their stay ashore while waiting to continue their journey to their place of destination or for any other reason. Passengers who disembark on their own initiative temporarily or interrupt the journey in ports or intermediate stops shall bear the costs of their stay ashore, as well as all embarkation and disembarkation fees and taxes, if any.Travel assistance insurance
If the passenger wishes to insure against the risks of health, death, travel assistance, loss or damage, or any other contingency that could affect them and/or their luggage during the trip, they must contract a travel assistance insurance or another with the insurance company of their choice or consult a Nunatak travel advisor. Insurance is not included in the presented itineraries and is offered upon the passenger's request according to their needs. Nunatak acts as an intermediary in the commercialization of travel assistance services, therefore, for any need for use and/or claim that may be processed, it is essential that the passenger contact the insurance company directly, releasing Nunatak from any liability.Luggage
These itineraries include only one piece of baggage. Passengers must check the amount and weight of baggage accepted by each airline. It is the passenger's responsibility to comply with this requirement; otherwise, they must pay any excess baggage fees directly. In the event of lost baggage on any flight, the claim must be made locally with the airline. A claim made upon return to Mexico is unlikely to succeed, releasing Nunatak from any liability. During the trip, the passenger is responsible for the loss, theft, or misplacement of their personal belongings.Visas, vaccines, health tests and documents
It is the passenger's responsibility to process all documents necessary for their trip, such as visas for countries that require them, health permits, vaccinations and medical tests requested by the destination country, notarized permits for minors traveling alone, etc. Passengers' passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return to Mexico, as well as have at least 2 contiguous blank pages for entry stamps. If this is not the case, it is the passenger's responsibility to process a new passport. The passenger is solely responsible for the loss or theft of any travel document (visa, passport, plane tickets, travel documents, permits, vaccination cards, etc.), as well as the inherent cost of their recovery.COVID-19
At the time of making a payment to confirm a travel service, the passenger voluntarily agrees to their desire to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic by accepting to comply with the safety protocols imposed by the service providers at the destination, and assumes the inherent risks and costs incurred by the pandemic themselves, such as the closure of borders, cancellation of services, bankruptcy of service providers, involuntary quarantines due to the infection of a third party during the trip, PCR and antigen tests at the destination, emergency transfers, hospital stays, rescheduling of travel, medical treatments, death, among others. Therefore, the passenger disclaims any economic or other claims, liability, demand or action arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. In the event that the passenger tests positive for COVID-19 within 14 days before the trip, the standard cancellation policies will apply without exception. Therefore, it is recommended to purchase COVID-19 assistance insurance to mitigate costs due to cancellation as a result of the pandemic. It is the passenger’s responsibility to travel with more than three face masks and to carry them throughout the trip, even in open air spaces. It is important to note that as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, passengers may experience longer waiting times at airports, tourist sites and attractions, land and river transport carriers, among others.Returns and refunds
These will be applied in accordance with the cancellation policies set out in these terms and conditions. Once the trip has begun, there will be no refund of the amount paid for unused services, cancelled travel days, changes in the stay from one city to another, or any modification to the previous itinerary when these actions are at the sole discretion of the passengers or by third parties (guides, hotels, transport providers, airport staff, etc.) who are not part of Nunatak. If, for reasons of force majeure or fortuitous events, the contracted service providers are unable to provide these services partially or completely, Nunatak will only manage, on behalf of the user, the reimbursement of the amount due, without incurring any other commitment. Nunatak declines any economic or other liability for the consequences that may result from delays in flights/cruises or their cancellation, general damage, loss of luggage or other belongings, theft, assault, injury, accidents, illness, terrorism, industrial disputes, nuclear problems, delays, strikes, airline or ground transport company bankruptcies, breakdowns, epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters and in general for any cause beyond Nunatak's control that may occur to the user during their trip.Cancellation policies
