Argentina is traveled from north to south and from the city to the ice. This program begins in Buenos Aires — tango, notable cafes, and architecture that looks toward Europe — and goes down to Los Glaciares National Park, where the Perito Moreno breaks in front of the walkways.
It ends in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, between the Beagle Channel and the Fuegian forest of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Ten nights, three destinations, and all domestic flights sorted out, so all you have to do is look out the window.
Highlights
- Panoramic city tour of the Civic Center, San Telmo, Palermo, and Recoleta.
- Full-day excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier, with its panoramic walkways.
- Half a day in Tierra del Fuego National Park, up to Lapataia Bay.
- Ushuaia as a base: Beagle Channel, Martial Glacier, and the End of the World Museum.

El Calafate
Full-day excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier (does not include entrance to the national park). There is 80 km of asphalt between El Calafate and the glacier. The entrance is from the Los Glaciares National Park, where the vegetation changes to pines, cypresses and lengas, and the notro, the intense reddish flower of the Patagonian Andean forest, stands out. Perito Moreno is a river of solid water, a mass of ice in continuous movement formed by the accumulation of snow over centuries. The excursion covers the various walkways that allow observing it from several points. We recommend booking the mini-trekking on the glacier in advance.
As it is a Luxury category, you can choose a half-day or full-day excursion from the hotel's menu.

Half-day excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park (does not include admission to the national park). From the city, we’ll take National Route 3 westward, passing through nurseries, ranches, and the foothills of Mount Susana, which bears witness to the labor of prisoners from the former prison for repeat offenders (1902–1947). The La Portada checkpoint marks the entrance to the park (6,300 hectares). Its secondary roads lead to Bahía Ensenada, Isla Redonda, Cañadón del Toro, the Alakush inn, and Lago Roca with the Casita del Bosque. Later, we’ll explore Laguna Negra and the beaver dams at Bahía Lapataia. In the afternoon, we suggest a boat trip to Isla de Lobos to see the End of the World Lighthouse.
